Jason Chan Zombie Painting

Jason Chan an artist I found that I would like to share with you. He was born and raised in Stockton, California. After high school he went to San Francisco to study 3D animation, but changed his major to illustration. Jason has a lot of art work that has a fantasy influence along with a Japanese anime style. He has many works of art on his website, http://www.jasonchanart.com, where I found these two.

A spectacular piece with George A. Romero at his last stand. George Romero has produced some of the best zombie movies, from "Night of the living dead" to "The Crazies." Now he has to fight the horde off to continue making the great movies we all crave. Then there is the zombie play ground, which is a very unique piece. Its children taking down zombie kids, which isn't often depicted. The feeling is much more lighthearted and humorous in this painting, but they are preparing to kick some serious zombie ass!

Portrait Zombie Tattoo

Tattooing has become very popular in my generation. I actually have two of my own and planning a third. Now a days the types and styles of tattoos range. Tattoo artist talents can range and now there are even areas that they can become well known for. Realistic portrait tattooing is a one of kind art. The ability to get artwork on your skin that is three dimensional or carry a picture of someone with you wherever you go is unbelievable. Zombies are now becoming portraits for people to display.

Zombie Pen Drawing

The zombie is crawling on the floor trying to get to you. This rotting corpse was drawn in roller ball pen. There is so much detail in the surfaces and textures that were created. You can feel the textures of the rough and warn down corpse. I feel as though the movement in this piece is slow as it drags itself your way. The movement might feel slow, but I can feel how bad the zombie wants what is reaching for.  I have done many of my own art work in pen and it's not so easy.  I appreciate this piece because the level of complexity, but even more for the artistic accomplishment of the story that's being told.  I found this on deviantart, where there are many different types of art, which people post up.
